Being a new state park, you can tell it still has a lot to offer. There is currently a 2-mile loop trail that's well maintained, and a smaller loop trail inside of it that has Kids Tracks, to teach children about our environment. There are shelters of various sizes right next to the parking lot that can be reserved by contacting the park office. Picnic tables and grills pepper the area. But the real gem is a waterfall about a 20-minute drive away - driving directions are available from the park office. More picnic tables and grills next to a small parking area, and a short walk leads to a beautiful waterfall with a pool below that just begs to be swum in. It's definitely worth a visit - you won't be disappointed.
